Quality inspection
Argolight trained staff will inspect your product and assess its state. We do not modify the product following the inspection.
Quality inspection of the fluorescent patterns (any product) - 324.5€
During the inspection of the patterns, a technician from Argolight will assess the quality of the patterns by following the same procedure as for a new product.
The steps are the following:
1/ General assessment of the slide: dust, oil, scratch, gluing issue, macroscopic damage. Image acquisition of the glass surface and of the slide top and bottom sides.
2/ Qualitative assessment of each pattern: an image is acquired and qualitatively inspected for positioning, intensity, and microscopic damage.
3/ Quantitative assessment of some patterns: for patterns that are part of the initial inspection (as indicated in the original inspection certificate of the product), a quantitative assessment of some patterns, through software processing, is performed. The results of the processing are compared to the Argolight current fabrication specifications.
4/ An inspection certificate is generated, it reports the results of all the above steps.
The deliverable of this service is the inspection certificate. It indicates the status of your fluorescent patterns against our current fabrication specifications. It is signed by Argolight. The report is sent with a brief note that analyses the results of this inspection, compared to the initial inspection just after the slide was fabricated.
Please note that the inspection is performed using Argolight image acquisition parameters which may or may not be the ones you use on your system(s).

Calibration of a power meter (Argo-POWER line) - 324.5€
When calibrating the power meter, a technician from Argolight will generate a calibration file using a second metrologically verified power meter and supply a new inspection certificate. Argolight glass verification is not included.
The steps are the following:
1/ Measurement of 5 different power values at 625 nm.
2/ Comparison of these measured powers to those measured by a calibrated power meter.
3/ Calculation of a correction factor, if there is a significant difference between the values measured by the inspected power meter and the metrologically verified one.
3/ Generation of a new calibration file, if relevant.
4/ An inspection certificate is generated; it reports the results of all the above steps.
The deliverables of this service are the inspection certificate as well as the calibration file. The inspection certificate is signed by Argolight.

Quality inspection of the fluorescent patterns and calibration of the power meter (Argo-POWER line) - 544.5€
This service is only available for the Argo-POWER product line. It combines the services of inspection of fluorescent patterns and calibration of the power meter. It is the complete inspection of an Argo-POWER product.

Electronic parts repairs
Argolight trained staff will repair and/or exchange any damaged electronic parts of your device and restore the device to a full working state. A certificate of quality is issued.
Servicing of an Argo-POWER unit (Argo-POWER line) - 874.5€
The service includes the diagnosis of a damaged Argo-POWER, the replacement of defective component(s) (photodiode, control unit…), and the calibration of the unit by an Argolight technician.
The deliverables of this service are the repaired unit as well as an inspection certificate and the calibration file. The inspection certificate is signed by Argolight.
Argolight glass verification is not included.
Argolight approach is to repair units as much as possible. We do not correct cosmetic wear and tear. Even though our technicians will always aim to recreate a minted look on your product, some markings may be visible due to opening and closing the product for repairs.

The service includes the diagnostics of a damaged glass part of an Argolight product, the replacement of the glass, and the recertification of the unit by an Argolight technician.
The deliverables of this service are the repaired unit as well as an inspection certificate. The inspection certificate is signed by Argolight.
Servicing of the electronics (if any) is not included.
